Long over due Update!

Hi Friends and Family!

I have now been in the Lone Star State for 46 days.  I have to start out by saying that God is FAITHFUL.
I have seen his faithfulness in this journey! I was graciously accepted by people I barely knew, I have been loved by so many on this journey out to Texas.   The Jones' have been very instrumental in everything I have been able to do and experience since being here.  They opened there home to me for the first two weeks I was here.  I was blessed to live with them and as I did I became a member of their family too! They have two little boys that were just a joy to spend time with and goof off with.

I recieved the opportunity to go and interview for a job only a couple weeks after I arrived and I was given the job.  I have been at Vaquero Country Club for the last 6 or so weeks.  I am working in the Golf Operations part of the club.  It is a beautiful community and is run very efficiently.  The overarching goal of the golf ops department is to the serve the members as well as we can.  Its been a fun go so far.

There is so much I could write in this blog today, but I just don't have the time to continue much further.

Please be in prayer for my community that I'm building here.  My hope is to have an established base of Christian and non Christian friends where I am living right now.  My desire is to live life for my Lord and Savior and my hope is that those around me will see him through me and they may come to know Him as Lord and Savior!  So my co-workers and people that I come in contact with I pray that I will live a disciplined life and pursue Christ!  May He be Glorified.

Ephesians 4:25-28
25 Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to your neighbor, for we are all members of one body. 26 “In your anger do not sin”[d]: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, 27 and do not give the devil a foothold. 28 Anyone who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with their own hands, that they may have something to share with those in need.

In Christ,

Todd
